In Steal a Brainrot, Gears are essential items that enhance your ability to defend and steal Brainrots. Whether you're looking to protect your own or add to your collection, understanding how these Gears work is key.

Gears Overview

Gears are crucial items in Steal a Brainrot, available for purchase using in-game Cash. These items can either help you steal other players' Brainrots or protect your own. However, they can't be used if you're holding a Brainrot at the time. Some Gears are also designed for trolling purposes, adding an element of fun to your gameplay.

Players can access more Gears as they progress through rebirths, with the current total standing at 39 obtainable Gears in the gear shop.

Default Gears

Every new player starts with a Bat, a simple yet effective Gear. The Bat is a wooden baseball bat that allows you to strike other players, causing them to fall with a minor knockback. If you're holding a Brainrot, using the Bat will return it to its initial position, providing a way to recover stolen Brainrots.

Originally called Tung Bat, named after a Brainrot character, it has since been renamed to Bat after the character's removal.

Shops

There are two primary shops where players can acquire Gears:

- Shop: Players can buy Gears using Cash, with more items unlocking after each rebirth.

- Robux Shop: Here, you can purchase Gears, gamepasses, and Cash using Robux, with any bought Gears remaining permanently in your inventory.

Special Event Shops

Occasionally, special event shops appear, offering unique Gears. These might include items like fishing rods, which were introduced during the Aquatic update and are specifically for use in fishing events.
